About Us

How It All Began

Whittlefold was originally a dairy farm but now it’s made up of equestrian, mixed livestock and poultry.

Whittlefold Stables offers full and part livery as well as DIY. There is all year round turnout and full access to all the facilities.

Whittlefold Shires are available for Experience days, Rides, Promotional work, Proms and Weddings.   

Whittlefolds traditionally reared pure Hereford beef are allowed to grow and mature slowly on a diet of grass and silage, all of which contribute to the production of nutritious world class quality beef. Hereford beef boxes are available on request.

Meet the Farmers


Neil Robinson

Neil has been farming all his life and has extensive knowledge of all things farming and business. He is dedicated to building a future in farming for his family.

Gaynor Robinson

Gaynor has years of farming and business experience. She is in charge of the everyday running of the farm and in the future would love to set up an animal rescue centre.

James Robinson

James is a fully qualified HGV driver and a HGV mechanic. He enjoys riding and driving his Shire horses and takes them to agricultural shows all around the country. He loves a project around the farm and is currently looking into starting Glamping at Whittlefold.

Rebecca Robinson

Rebecca has recently graduated from UWE Bristol with a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science. She is now currently doing a MSc in Poultry Production at Harper Adams University. Rebecca’s main interests are commercial beef and poultry production. 

Lauren Robinson

Lauren is currently studying Agriculture at Myerscough College. She enjoys spending time with her Dales pony’s and helping out around the farm. Her future goals are to help run the farm and build up her herd of Belgium blue cross suckler cows.
